This course can be taken in-person or online. Choose your option when booking. This is a 1 day course on TEMPEST ONLY. You need to be certified in ICD 705 to choose this course. Friday Module: TEMPEST & CTTA Requirements Included with this course is a full day of TEMPEST and Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) fundamentals, providing students with an understanding of how TEMPEST requirements integrate into modern SCIF planning, design, construction, and accreditation. This course covers: The fundamentals of TEMPEST and compromising emanations (CE) The history and evolution of TEMPEST attacks and vulnerabilities Governing TEMPEST policies, standards, and guidance The role and responsibilities of the Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) TEMPEST Countermeasure Reviews (TCRs) and how they impact facility design RED/BLACK separation concepts and other electrical isolation requirements Inspectable Space, grounding, and other factors that influence CTTA decisions How TEMPEST requirements affect SCIF construction, accreditation, and lifecycle management By the end of the course, students will have an overall understanding of how TEMPEST requirements are evaluated and incorporated into secure facility projects, enabling them to better coordinate with CTTAs and design teams while supporting compliant SCIF and SAPF construction. TARGET AUDIENCE This course is designed for federal government, military, civilian, federal partner, and government contractor personnel responsible for the planning, design, construction, accreditation, and lifecycle management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs)
