Service Description

This course can be taken in-person or online. Choose your option when booking. Most classes are Monday - Thursday from 8:00am - 5:00pm in the time zone of the course location unless otherwise stated. The National Security Officer Course (NSOC) is a combination of our Facility Security Officer Course (FSOC) and Special Security Officer Course (SSOC). This course focuses on the duties of those working as either an FSO, Assistant FSO (AFSO), or Special Security Officer (SSO) in the National Security arena. This is a great introductory course for those taking on the responsibility for the collateral aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) as well as those who will be administering all aspects of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. The NSOC familiarizes students with the requirements and practical application of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Policy Memorandums, and Policy Guidance.
